Underground and Underfloor heating is growing in popularity. Underfloor is even more efficient when used with a heat pump. With this in mind Erne Power are now suppliers of underfloor heating which has been designed specifically to provide a simple means of using this highly efficient form of heating, to heat your home. The system can readily be used by professional plumbers.

The heat pump gives up heat to the hot water tank which in turn feeds the underfloor heating system. This underfloor system can sometimes be referred to as a 'wet floor system' as hot water runs through the underfloor
pipes to provide space heating. For this reason a heat pump is highly efficient when used with an underfloor heating system. Underfloor piping is always plastic, and there should be no fittings under the floor. Thermostats then regulate the temperature of the room by controlling actuators (motorised values) for each respective circuit. The whole systems is put on a timer, just like hot water.
